How much does Practical Legal Training cost?

IOLT PLT costs $6,000 for domestic students and $8,700 for international students. Six equal interest-free instalments are available for either fee.

The full-course fee and instalments are stated before you apply. Admission and practising certificate charges are separate, and directed single-subject fees depend on the subjects required.

Separate costs to plan for

Admitting authorities, courts and practising certificate regulators charge their own fees. Document certification, internet, technology and travel may also involve personal costs.

These external costs are separate from IOLT tuition.

Flexible study, on your schedule

Complete the online coursework at times that suit your commitments, including evenings and weekends.

You still need regular study time and a workable plan for 20 days of supervised workplace experience.

Which fee applies to your application?

The full-course fee depends on the tuition category confirmed in your offer. Holding an overseas law qualification does not by itself establish that international tuition applies.

If an authority directs individual practical subjects, use the subject-fee schedule rather than the full-course figure. Ask Admissions to confirm the subjects and fees relevant to the written direction.
